hroughout centuries of foreign domination the retention of the Armenian language & literature seems to have been one of the people's greatest defences against assimilation. It is difficult to express the deep feeling Armenians have for their language, which many regard as the lifeblood of their culture. 

This section is divided into several categories to help the reader find the desired subject with ease. Some of the literary works are in Armenian (Western or Eastern dialect depending on the source) and some have been translated into English.
