ear Hye Etch visitor, we are living in the age of information and technology. The Internet has made a big impact on our daily lives and will continue to do so in the future. Sharing information across the continents has become as easy as clicking on a “SEND” button while siting in front of your computer in the comforts of your home or office.

At Hye Etch we intend to use this new technology to inform and educate the world about the Armenians. In order to achieve our goals we are in need of vast provisions of literary and artistic material to assist us in research and preparation of factual material for the Hye Etch web site.

Almost every one of us owns some Armenian books, posters, videos and audio tapes etc. Some are in constant use, but others have been tucked away in boxes and placed in a dark and dusty corner of the attic, garage or storage room with no use to anyone.

At Hye Etch we would like to ask you kindly to consider sending these disused publications to us. Yes! We will be very happy to receive your old and used literary and artistic material. The material contributed can be in any language - of Armenian nature. The following is a list of items we are interested in:

• Books - Children’s books, ABC books, history books, language and literature books (stories & poems), school books, dance, song and music books, art books, religion books, genocide books, stamp books, dictionaries etc.
  
 
• Posters & Maps - ABC posters, art posters, architectural posters, historic or current maps of Armenia, maps of Yerevan and suburbs, maps of villages and cities in occupied Turkish Armenia etc.
  
 
• Pictures & Illustrations - Artworks, paintings, Armenian motifs, architecture, Khatchkars, costumes, textile, coat of arms and insignia, etc.


• Audio/Music Tapes & Records - All kinds of modern and classical tapes and records, children’s songs, religious & church songs etc.


• Video Tapes & DVDs - Documentaries, Stories, instructional tapes, genocide tapes, music tapes, plays and performances etc.


• CD-ROMs - Digital format of the items mentioned above - For Windows.
