  • Blue - Stands for the color of the sky and its reflection onto the waters of the rivers and lakes that give life to this magnificent country of ours Armenia.
  • Orange - Stands for the natural resources and wealth of this rich country, and the industrious nature of the Armenian people.

The Anthem of the Republic of Armenia

hese are the words of the Anthem in Armenian and English, originally written by Mikael Nalbandian. This is a modified version of the original anthem, which consisted of five clauses. Some of the words have been changed appropriately to reflect the freedom and independence of the Republic of Armenia.

Every Armenian should make the effort to learn and commit to memory the words of their national anthem. In honour of our ancestors who fought and shed their blood to save this nation from annihilation.
